Marshall MG30FX Guitar Combo Amplifier Review

Innovative FDD (Frequency Dependent Damping) circuitry and 30 Watts of power gives the Marshall MG30FX Guitar Combo Amplifier the ability to achieve rich tones by emulating the way the older, all tube powered amps sound while using modern technology to give you a programmable way of customizing, storing and accessing the tones and features you like.

The Marshall MG30 has a 3 band equalizer and four digital effects including Chorus, Phaser, Flanger or Delay.  With preset or manual modes you can adjust the controls on the fly or recall a previously stored setting for each of this amp’s 4 channels.

is the only place where you can get this amp for under $200.

The 4 effects are controlled by turning a knob to adjust the speed of the modulation effects and to adjust the level of the delay effect.  The delay can be set by using the tap button on the front panel or by using the optional Stompware Footswitch.

There is also a Headphone / Line Output that allows you to experience the sound with all of your selected settings while recording or practicing with headphones on.

The reviews for the Marshall MG30FX Guitar Combo Amplifier are outstanding.  This amp is available for under $200 and many of the people that have used it and left their reviews say that it is a great amp for the money.  Many people are commenting on how clean and crisp the sound is and that it remains that way even when using a lot of distortion.  One reviewer said that they were blown away by this amp and that “for only 30 watts, this thing is superb!”  Many people that have used Fender or Peavy amps in the past decided to give the Marshall MG30FX a try because of its affordable price and all were very impressed.

The reviews for this product are very positive and people liked the fact that it is easy to use and although it is small enough to be easily portable it puts out a tremendous sound for a 30-watt amp.  It’s a great amp for practice and rehearsals and could even be used for a gig in the right size room.
